Starting at 0:00 on December 1, 2020, the Chinese Embassy in the United States will review and issue the QR code of the “HDC” health declaration form for foreign passengers travelling from the United States to China. Foreign passengers can log in to the website through a computer or mobile phone and other terminals, fill in information online, declare their health status, upload a double-negative test certificate, personal passport, itinerary and other materials. After the Chinese Embassy and Consulate in the United States has passed the review, it will issue a QR code with the “HDC” logo on the health statement through the website. When boarding the plane, foreign passengers must present the electronic version of the QR code or the printed version of the health declaration form for the airline to verify. For testing requirements, please read carefully the notice of the Chinese Embassy in the United States on October 29, 2020.

Transitional arrangements: starting from 0:00 on December 1, 2020, US Embassies and Consulates in the U.S. will not issue a stamped “Statement of Health” for foreign passengers, but they already have a “Statement of Health” issued by the Embassy or Consulate in the U.S. Foreign passengers who have the “Health Statement” do not need to apply for the QR code of the “HDC” health statement repeatedly, and they can still board the plane with the “Health Statement” within the validity period. The application methods of foreigners’ emails or online uploads previously announced by the embassies and consulates in the United States will cease to be used.

Special reminder: The above adjustments are only applicable to foreigners going to China. Chinese passengers, please upload the double-negative test certificate, itinerary and other materials through the WeChat health code international version to obtain the health code, please do not perform any operations through the above-mentioned websites.
