Government fees are separate, paid by check or money order to “U.S. Department of State”: $216.87 for a passport book or $246.87 for a book and card ($186.87 / $216.87 for children under 16). New, child and lost passports also need a $35 acceptance fee paid where you apply. Applying directly with the government takes about 4–8 weeks and doesn’t include our fee.
