The payment is made at the point of visa collection, while some locations will require payment at the point of application. In many countries, the fee is based on the number of entries permitted in your visa. In this case, the more entries you have, the more expensive the visa. For countries such as Canada, U.S, and the U.K., there is a fixed fee regardless of the number of entries.

Here are some countries exempted from Chinese Visa fees:

  • Bosnia
  • Bulgaria
  • Maldives

Foreign nationals who wish to enter China must present a valid visa. However, individuals who qualify for the visa-free policy are exempted from this rule. A China Visa application can be submitted before entering the country. Alternatively, there is an option to apply for a visa upon arrival.
